So I went ot eh flea market today to get some stuff I can probably sell for profit to get the money for my car together.
I did find a nice little Philips soundmachine 3 piecer..story to follow another time.
Let's focus on this for now:
What a nice little walkman, even with a built in radio I've been looking for one quite a while.
But what is that? It has an antenna? A walkman with an antenna?
Well, not exactly. Although this nice little piece is probably rather a walkman than anything else, it has a stereo speaker system on its back!
I have NEVER senn that before. This MUST be the record for the smallest boombox ever, I have seen small ones with the speakers on their sides but this one wins the prize I think.
To the sound
It does sound just like it looks, very phone like but still better than today's cell phone speakers. Volume, let's just forget it You can probably hear thins from 3-5 meters away in public...really rather something to play music for yourself, not a partymachine .
BUT it is a cool curiosity I had to take with me and I am happy to have it in my collection. Now I only need a MasterBlaster for size comparison
