you can get rid of the little brown rings around the grill holes, use a degreaser with lime or orange in it - has to shift it but have no grain/polishing paste in it

you can pop out the plugs if you can't get round them - you have to take the back off and then work out where they come out off - some are harder to get out, but can be done
