I wrote the seller to take care for the original box. But.... :'-(

The boombox was never used and came with all original equipment. Will post more pics soon.

Sheesh! I collect lots of stuff besides boomboxes, and EVERYBODY knows that "new in the BOX" makes a vintage item more valuable. But I've been burned like this, too. So now, when there's a box involved, I'll always ask in a message to a seller, "Please pack the original box inside another box for shipping." So far, it has worked. No one has out-and-out ignored my request. Guess I've been lucky.

Beautiful, unique boombox. A real find! And a little tape on the cardboard doesn't change that. A very nice walkman/mini!

What a Lazy, Careless seller, He just couldn't double box it, I always double box to conceil & protect the original one, But this stupid seller put tape all over it & ship it that way, I agree with Fatdog, Lazy sellers like that should get slap and told what so matter with this seller. :annoyed:

well to be honest the post office could have opened it and then just threw aways the extra box.
i mean i wouldnt put it past the post office or courier company to do this.

That's possible bill and I'm sure it has happened many times. From my experience I think many sellers do use the factory box to ship, I've seen this many times, it's sad and frustrating especially when the box has collectability.

That's the first time I've seen somebody do what they did to Blasterpunk.

However, I'm gonna turn his negative into a positive for me in the future, and do what Boom Shaka Laka said should the situation arise.
