Hi! American living in London, since 1998. Came here with just 2 suitcases. Brought my Sharp QT-50 here with me. Left the JVC at my parents' house. I have owned both from new in the 80's.
I found this place while looking up info on the Sharp, it's been sitting in a cupboard, out of the sun, but yet I have now found that the lovely pink colour has become more like peach. The grey trim has also taken on a greenish cast as well. It still works great, just the volume control has become a bit static-y. Is this discolouration common? I take pretty good care of my stuff, but the Sharp has been well used and well loved.
