Newbie Bargain RV B90 Green

Today I picked up a green RV B90 Urban Assault funnily enough from a soldier!

It had been languishing in his garage for years - I happily paid the £20 he wanted.

After some baby wipe-ing it looks like this;



Haven't got round to putting batteries in for the display yet but it all works and sounds as good it should (including the remote).

The black goo is gooey so my next job is to strip and paint it (I don't know the best way to do it).

Any thoughts or suggestions will be welcome! KaBOOM!

These have good sound I have the RV-NB10W though is not your classic boombox they can get the job done filling the room.

Managed with toothbrush, steam cleaner and micro fibre cloth.

Got the goo cleaned up, wife will be getting a new toothbrush for Christmas probably, maybe...

did you take it apart to clean it? Sounds like either something is loose, or the subwoofer surrounds are shot and needs refoaming.
