That's a new record for me!

I said I wasn't going to get anymore radios till I rebelted what I have (I swear I am trying!)

I've had one radio on the operating table for 2 1/2 months, so it has made it tough to get to others

SOOOOO...in the mean time :-D

I have come to realize that I am using this size radio more and more. I am simply leaving batteries in them and on the way out the door, it's just a grab and go. No BS standing there staring at the collection trying to figure it all out :hmmm: while the wifey stands at the door and screams "Just grab one already :annoyed: "

Heading to the garage?
Grab and Go!

Don't feel like trying to navigate the J1 through the narrow shipping lanes of the front door! (dude, it's an issue :-/ )
Grab and Go!

Can't risk the handle bustin' off the Discolite?
Grab and Go!

Don't want to Fark up a grail in the trunk or back seat?
Grab and Go!

I want to thank member Ghettoboom767/Jeff for doing a nice clean trade for a Sanyo that I had. Of course he packaged it up like a pro (Boomboxery Members know what they are doing  ) and it arrived safe and sound.

PLUS I think it fits in nicely :-D

BTW, looking for knobs and switch tips for the RT-200S

Nice Tosh Chris, your a stronger man than me, I lasted 10 days til I broke my resolution. And after that I bought 2 more. **** it Lol. The grab n go method sounds kinda nice. No hassle, no fuss, and more importantly, no pissed off wifey. Congrats brother.

Thanks bro...

She comes home, see's the box by the front door and all the packing materials and says "Oh what did I get?" I said "You got a new radio!". She says "Did I like it?" I said "Very much".

Congrats on a nice, well made and practical user box. Sometimes, the bigger the box, the less outdoor use it gets. Destroying 10 D cells for an afternoon BBQ at the park all of a sudden doesn't seem real smart. 6 Ds in a smaller unit will last 50 BBQs and it still gets the job done.

Toshiba really did make nice boxes!

James..... :-)

Man, it does seem strange, but my habits seem to be leaning in that direction. A casual get together doesn't need 80 decibels of 975 power.

:jawdrop:
Who wrote that and what did they do with Chris?

But seriously yes, there are times when slightly smaller can be more useful and that Tosh looks good.
