Hello, I just joined to this cool site for 80s boomboxes revival !... I remember several of the boomboxes that I had and that I really don't recall what happened to them. I remember my frist boombox from the 80s was a Sony one which I don't recall its model and I have ran into a picture of it in the brief time I'm looking into this hobbie. Also I remember and really enjoyed a Panasonic tape recorder, which thanks to this site I identified its model... It was an RX-F35. I wonder what happened to these and other boom boxes I had...
:-)

I want to collect the grails and quality boxes of the 80s ... and I just love looking at member's pics of there awesome boomboxes ! Hey everybody,
I think I'm very different of many people of this website.
I'm just a student of 21 years old, speaking a bad english because I'm french (don't you know that french education is very bad to learn foreign languages?).
So I haven't your "boombox experience". My first and only REAL "boombox experience" is that when I was young, I saw an old boombox (I was too young to tell now what kind of boombox it was, sorry...) in a market place with my father for sale to 5€ and not so bad if I remember good ! I could have ten years but I said to my father : " Daddy I want that !" and he answered me that he didn't wanted to surrender to all my whims. Since this time I've secretly wanted to one boombox, but you have to understand, I foolishly thought that it didn't exist anymore ! I discovered that by internet a few years ago but I don't have the money.
Now I always have not a lot of money  but I've decided to realised this f*cking kid's dream !! So I decided to buy just one boombox, not a piece of **** and not a giant too (if I could I will but I doesn't have any money...). I have been really learning in boomboxes in general since about a month. I'm searching for something which looks very beautiful (like many people here I love the classic old boombox style) and give a loud sound of good quality and less than 300€. I was thinking of the classic JC RC M70 but if you have any others ideas or advices don't hesitate to tell it to me ;-)

To be honest, I think there are not many boombox in my country, and when you found sellers, they are very expensive :-/ ! But in Germany you have many boomboxes for good prices, and in I think you can do very good deals with many est european countries like Romania or Lithuania where the way of life is cheap but you have to take care of scams which are numerous in these countries (that's why I've posted a post for preventions before internationl purchases ). Of course it's a personnal point of view...
And thanks for my language :-D
