Well, the wife and I finished painting our newly remodled rec room, and we couldn't decide on decoration. I just said that if she let me put "some boomers" in there, she could make all the rest of the decisions. Eager to start decorating, she agreed.

So I put "some boomers" in there. Can't wait 'till she gets up and see's this... :angelic:

I figured that since I have gotten some fixed lately, now was a good time for a group shot!

That's a very nice selection. What is that black box behind the M70?

That's the subwoofer for the main stereo  ...it and the tv are just off picture to the left...

I think Ira hit it right on the head..."too much is never enough!"

Update: My wife loves the look...she now wants boomboxes all along that wall, interspaced with all our media (records, tapes, cds!)

I can't wait!

DOH! I guess I should have said "to the right" of the M70. :dunce: The black, double-decker with the silver woofers. What is that?

 Sorry 'bout the confusion...you are not going to believe what boomer to the left of the M-70 that one is!

That's a Sanyo C-35...the back half, handle, and woofers were all painted...I could never understand why it souded so sweet (sweeter than it should, actually.) So when I opened it up. I found that the inside of the plastic speaker cabinets were stiffened with wooden reinforcing! I think it looks cool with silver woofers and chrome centers.
