I got me a sweet near mint Electro brand 7993 jumbo. my mystery. all fires up.
decks 1&2 ff/rr play. radio well am is engaged. but no sound no FM And you can barely hear radio from tweets&mids. so faint you gotta stand still. could it be amp/resistors shorted.Just glad its juicing up at full. any suggestions welcome.

funny the decks fire up. but no sound. just only AM radio faint in tweeters.

FM/AM band selector switch (function) needs a good vigorous cleaning with Deoxit and also the long record switch. Power switch also needs cleaning. Let's see what happens.

Is it in 220V selection?

I would try cleaning up the headphone jack first especially since zero sound .....
