yes it was just the color both are the newest design that jvc is throwing at us ,,i still love the ols style but i might one day get me the newer one

I'll bet it's not just a color difference. I'll bet it has something to do with iPod compatibility. Firmware upgrade, etc. That jerk, Steve Jobs, doesn't like when 3rd parties make products that are compatible with his products. He likes to be the sole provider for accessories. So, he makes software/firmware changes to render things incompatible. Then, the other companies have to play catch up and release new versions of their stuff.
