A GF9000 is an awesome box to start off a collection. A classic looker with some of the coolest VUs ever made!
Go get it if it is reasonably priced

Welcome Japspec! The GF-9000's a very worthy blaster, one of the biggest sized single deck radios. Fairly easy to work on too.

Good to see someone from South Africa on here! I follow the SA cricket team ardently. Real shame they couldn't get up over Pakistan yesterday.
