New DIY V5.0 build! :-)

Hi Guys,

Hardmans new awesome GF-777 DIY box has inspired me to finally get started on my latest build.

The V5.0 box will have the same amp, battery and Bluetooth 4.0 receiver as my V2.0 box but this time around, I'm reducing the height and width and using 12mm plywood for the front and back panels instead of the 18mm I used in the V2.0.

The reduction in weight should be around 2.5 kilos.

The drivers are early 1990s Japanese made 8 inch Aiwa Hi Fi drivers and the tweeters are silk dome Veko units. I'll be using the original Aiwa crossovers. This thing is gonna THUMP!!!!

I've been side tracked by a new mid sized DIY build (V4.0) - completed.
