New Clairtone 7980 added.. collection wall updated

I found an ad Locally here for a Clairtone 7980, original owner, decent condition.. (tape decks need work).. rest looks good, lights, alarm, radio, all knobs and battery cover, has the tape drawer fully intact. Wasn't dirt cheap or anything, but I wanted to get one I didn't have to pay for shipping on and could inspect before buying.
And most importantly it had to be OK'd by the Wife

We gave it a good workout last weekend, sounds great

behold!!!

The collection wall is shaping up nicely, only a couple more boxes on my radar at the moment.

I have managed to get every one without buying online... I started in 2004 when I got a Clairtone 7978 for $25, and Lasonic TRC 931 for $30 ... the costs have only gone up for me since ... I forgot the put my Kaboom in that pic .... :'-(

lol, yes...something I have had to get used to in the past 3 years... I think I have it pretty good, but major purchases need the stamp of approval
