New boxes acquired

Bought this for 20 quid for my mates "stag do" - Rest of my mates are dressing him up to look like a mug.
But I thought i'd play nice - and bought him this beater Sony:

Sounds surprisingly good and civilised. Goes to full volume and does not break up or distort (not very loud admitedly)

Pioneer SK 353L

Won this for 20 quid on eBay - stuck some money on a sniping device and forgot



Any informaion regarding these boxes is welcome - is the Pioneer any good? I never really knew they did much portable stuff. Is the quality comparable to their car and home gear?

I have that Sony, it's actually a pretty good basic box and has solid looks.

Just got a Panasonic RX5050 for £1.20


and a Sanyo M9998L for a similar figure - just the decimal point jumped to the right 2 spaces
