So I was cleaning my inbox out and I come across a website I had e-mailed myself a couple of years a go, as a reminder to look at (it only took 4 years to finally look at it). It's a place in Australia called big warehouse spares. I know it sounds kind of cheap. But they claim to have over stock of electronic items. Their catalog is vast if in fact they have what they say they have in stock. My first search, of course, was JVC RC-M90....NADA! But then I looked for Sharp GF-777 BAM! I searched it on the search bar and it didn't come up, but I found it under Sharp then Audio then scrolled through their product numbers. Maybe if I had searched GF-777Z

They don't have all the parts, but they claim to have parts and many of them. I've copied the link below of the parts they claim to have, availability, and pricing. Has anybody ever heard or ordered from this place? Have I died and gone to boombox parts heaven? :angelic: Or is this just a pipe dream? :nonono: :hmmm:

https://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/index.php?cPath=46427_48723&sort=5a&page=1

I see ***nla*** next to all the parts and either the price or NLA under the price. I've concluded that the first ***nla*** is referring to if it's still available, still being made by Sharp. The second NLA when they(BPW) don't have it. Because it seems that if there's a price it's available.

Some one please smack me into reality,(insert one bitmoji smacking another) because if this is the case I should just sign my paycheck over to them now! :bang:

I think it’s probably all nla. Years ago, encompass, partstore etc. would happily accept your order on tons of stuff only to take your money for a 2-month ride before canceling your order.

there is another "magical dream-place" out there: https://www.directextensive.top/

the only place where you can get SM for RX-5700:
SERVICE MANUAL NATIONAL PANASONIC RX-5700F RADIO CASSETTE, Makers library copy

To avoid paying their shipping fees I also added Toshiba RT-S90 (for $43.43 who wouldn't!?!) to my order:
TOSHIBA RT S90 BOOMBOX GHETTOBLASTER RADIO CASSETTE TAPE

CapitalOne credit card provides this "Eno" service where you give a virtual one-time CC number to the shady seller, then watch safely what they are going to do. Within minutes they charged $480 for these two items, two days later they changed it for $44.93. My order (dated 08/11/2018) is still Pending although I canceled this charge a month ago. Needless to say, they never responded to my requests for an update.

Such a shame, someone out there does have RX-5700 Service Manual (photo looks real), but no one is willing to sell pdf or xerox copy

One in a Million was good enough for Jim C.... There is a chance!!!
Each time we travel cross-country with my Boss (and we do it once a year, this is my idea of a Vacation!) my CC gets stolen at some point. Works like a clockwork!! At least with online shopping this option of a Virtual CC number helps with the hassle of getting a new CC
Hopefully my RX-5700 is not cold-dead, without its SM it will be beyond my skills (and patience) to find the glitch
