New arrival: Watson RR 5880

I nearly missed the delivery lady 'cause I had to jump into my trousers first I'm glad I didn't! Won this on ebay only sunday and it's already here, the guy didn't even wait for the money before he sent it. (But don't worry, of course I paid him ) The Watson RR 5880 is pretty huge and yet quite a lightweight for its size. The condition is good, tape 1 isn't working and is also missing the rewind button. The power button doesn't work either, the boombox is always switched on, but that should be easy to fix.

To I test what this thing is capable off is plugged in my ipod and started increasing the volume and then suddenly it went quiet. I was all like ****-****-**** and treid several things to see what's wrong. Wooop off goes the alarm Friggin loud, I bet any thief would be stunned and never be able to move again. After testing tape and radio I finally found the source of the problem: my ipod gave up the ghost Does anyone know a good mp3-player with lots of storage space?

By the way, I noticed the alarm was switched on when I unpacked this blaster. The former owner probably wanted to play a trick on me

The only bad thing is that they make your other boomboxes appear tiny

my custom boxes will wipe the floor with it but it crushes the conion and and all my other boxes for volume , this box has very good sound ,i was very suprized how good this box sounds especially at loud volume ,so basically sounds as good as the conion but twice as loud ,it will hurt you ears .
