What's up.... A few weeks ago I was in touch with badboy bill about some of those grails that he posted for sale.I was very interested in the j1 that he had listed.. After about 3 conversations the seller and I was able agree on a price that's where my friend bill came into this picture I sent him the money and bill went to pick this up for me... But we all know bill by now .. Not only did he pick it up but he wasn't happy with the tape decks .. So bill changed out a belt ot 2 and got both decks flying for me his packing was absolutely fantastic ... It literally took me 20 min just to get it unpacked .. The transformer was packed separately so nothing was broken inside... So after a few hours of polishing and cleaning I can finnaly say I have a fully functioning j1 so I Relly wanted to say thank you to him for going above and beyond for me my first impression of this box is wow then I turned it on... And it sounds as good as it looks .. I just amazed at the light show the led's over the speakers are so cool ... Here are a couple of pics.

AWESOME!! I just got my Super Jumbo this week as well, had me workin on it til 4 am just so I could get er all cleaned up.. Maybe I'll have to ask Bill what size belts he replaced...

Actually I only replaced counter belt. Other belts were new. I should have dismantled them to measure but didn't so if anyone knows size of belts please post them up I may actually be getting one as well now that I've had a chance to play around with Jimmy's J1 Boombox

And how! Reli is correct The LIght show is mesmerizing even with the volume set to Zero when kids are asleep,etc) they all light up. Hypnotizing Never gets old to watch. Congrats Jimmy
