Ok guys, I know I am in big trouble now :bang: . After getting new belt (hope that one fits) and removing the back cover of the box, I don't know what to do next.

I did remove the vertical board to get to the tape desk from the back, but now, I have absolutely no idea what to do :-D ? Which part should be take off, which screws needs to be remove, I don't know.

So, anyone has experience or know how things work please give me a hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

looks like you need to remove the screw from the arm holding the main flywheel in place , the lift the arm up enough to slip the belt past it and onto the flywheel, if you use a dental tool like a hook you can manipulate the belt around the main pulley and the idler pulley and then you might have to either remove the motor or take out a screw or two to allow you access to slip the belt onto the motor pulley.

Thank you very much for your hints JVC. Actually it's not as difficult as I had thought. I removed the cassette desk from the box and then without any equipment except one toothpick I managed to put a new belt in place, not remove any screw from the desk too. But the process takes a lot of time.

Now my cassette works as it should except the tape counter - it runs well but cannot be reset to 0-0-0 position. It doesn't make my annoyed much though. WOW the cassette works amazing, very nice sound :w00t:

I'm very happy right now.

I've never thought that replacing the belt could give a box a fresh life like that. I had also a rx-5700 with the same tape sound problem like this 4360 and now I'm sure that replacing its belt will do the job too. OMG, i did thought that was an unsolvable fault on my 5700. How stupid I was

I am very thankful and appreciated to all kind guys on this forum, I've learned so much that keeps me love this hobby more and more every day :angelic: .

Have a nice day :-)
