There are no markings and no service manual is availableif you look carefully at the PCB it should be marked (Motor +, - ). Failing that try to find the service manual.

I resoldered it and it was me who cut the motor off but I don't remember and no I always twist the wires offCan you see any spots where it looks like a wire was cut?
How about the solder, does it look different in some places, like it was recently re-melted?
Do u have a photo maybe? It goes to the corner of the board right next to the door eject mechanism.
U mean Here?It goes to the corner of the board right next to the door eject mechanism.
And where do these connect? It goes to the corner of the board right next to the door eject mechanism.
It was years ago when I was a kid I didn't care than but know I do the motor is now connected but it doesn't turn when I press playObviously this should go without saying but anyway, always take photos when you remove wires or work on a unit where you break it right down.
And where do these connect?
That's only the record switch? Or is it also the play switchCheck voltages at those wires on the pcb with play pressed. If no voltage, either the wires are in the wrong place, or there may be a leaf switch in the deck which is broken.
Yes I found it somebody (not me) cut the wires for it of? We're do they go?Mechanically on the deck when you press play, it may engage a small leaf switch to tell the motor to turn on. A leaf switch is normally connected to two small wires.
I do not know this deck but that would be my first guess.
