Too sad there is no aerial television any more... :annoyed:
Just receiving a few hungarian channels.
But it works! :-)

Must look for an DVBT-box (digital-analog-changer) for fully usage.

Congratulations on the very nice find, Roman! That's one of the biggest TV screens I've seen in a boombox, and for it to include all of the original extras is a deal.

I wonder if you could convert the screen to an LCD computer monitor? :-)

A change of the screen i will try one time at my PHILIPS.
But this box will kept in origina condition. ;-)
I can use it without problems at cable tv or sat.
But only over aerial is nothing.
But i could use a signal converter (DVBT)

Great find, especially with all the extras and working dial light! An auction for one of these just ended on U.S. eBay with no bids: [ebay]260477362434[/ebay] Of course, it had a couple of issues, including tape not working (what else is new?). Seems a shame, really, since it's such a beautiful unit. Unfortunately, all-digital broadcasting here has killed the demand for analog TVs, even when they're in classy boomboxes. Maybe that's why this one didn't sell.

Great score Roman! I have a Sharp one similar, but not nearly as pretty.

I'm still in two minds as to whether it's a boombox or not though as it doesn't run on batteries, only mains power.
I consider mine more of a portable tv with cassette deck and radio for this reason. I think the only boomboxes with TV's
in them that run on batteries are the ones with a much smaller screen, about 1/3rd the size of that one.

But I'll be picking more up if I ever find more, that's for sure.

Rock On.

True, it´s really heavy.
You should´nt shoulder it, would be not good for your health!
