In this next one, I ask the WGM......

Name a BoomBox feature that IS NOT on any of your 'boxes.

Let's see what the most-missing feature is.

Take a look at all your boxes, and see what feature is missing on all of them.

Graphic Equaliser? Digital LCD-style tuner? Tone Control? Line-In?

.....Or how about one of those funny "Not-Analog" bits ( A.K.A. new-fangled CD-player thingy :-P )

What BoomBox feature isn't on any of YOUR boxes?

Get writing! :-D

is that REALLY a boombox feature? :-/

This thread EXCLUDES any unusual home-made "woodies" that may have car-stereo bits in them. :nonono:

Lets just keep this to 'Proper' boomboxes.

Hmmm no, but would be cool.

I have a wide variety of boxes, but none with lighted cassette compartment, so you can tell how much tape is left in the dark.

Now that would be an interesting feature!

A light-up cassette deck.

So I do wonder how you know how much tape is left in the top-deck of a Conion?

Really though, if that did feature on a boombox, I'd doubt that the light would be continuously on, especially on batteries, it would wear them out.

The ideal solution to the 'tape remaining' issue would be the use of a torch. :-D

Aside of the leds meters, none of my boxes have the fancy multi colored Disco lights on them. I wish. (I think that's what you were asking). :-)

Hmmm, yes.

I'd have to go with Spectrum analyser too.......NONE of my boxes have one of those.

......But what boombox feature isn't on ANY of your boxes?

a built in re chargable battery that is dependable and powerful.

I'll take one of those!!!

You have one, well kind of! The JC2000/Master Blaster has a 'battery recharge' thingy on the back of it. Well, mine does, it's the ESC variation, but I doubt theres any differences between them. No idea how or if it works though.

My feature would be that the volume can be turned to maximum without any distortion. I don't think any of mine can do that.. not game to get above half with C-100 however, so that one might.

Rock On.

Woah?! :w00t:

High-speed dubbing from a Not-Analog bit?

Funny idea, I suppose, never knew THAT was a boombox feature, and I'd say that none of my boxes can do that......

Not even the only one that I have with a Not-Analog bit can do that.

Also, for all of you that say crazy things like LCD screens / Image projectors / Blu-ray players and stuff........

Those REALLY are not BoomBox features, are they?

I mean, why don't you just go all the way and say " Flux Capacitor and 88 MPH? " :nonono:

Please try to keep this Old Skool and Tight......This is The Worldwide Getto Massive, peoples !!!!
