ok, I am marc. I am a huge gear head. I am a certified geek of electronic gear.
I picked up the phillips DCC 900 back in 1993 for a cool 800 dollars...
i also was one of the first in my then hometown in Tennessee to pick up a Sony MZ-1 when it debuted. I still have 2 of these today. it was over a grand with the batteries and sony specific optical cable.. ive still got the Stereo review and AUDIO magazines that featured this gadget. those mags WERE THE mags to have back in the 80s...
sometimes l like to take it out and walk around with it. ive got a couple more md units but the mz-1 will always be the first one i pick up.
so do you boombox gear heads ever get into MD's? i have probably 75 discs plus more unused...
