Does anybody know which boombox this is? Davidspero posted an album with this on it.

 Good question. When I first saw it I thought it was an m70 but no tuning dial on the side. Closer look shows a lot of sliders on top and many band selectors kinda like an 838. But its silver.

...looks a whole lot like an 828L to me...color and top sliders match up...if I were a gambling man that's what my money's on...anybody got pics of an 828L??

Wow! Great eye!

And what a beautiful box!!!

I like that Panny 5150 lurking in the background, too! How does the JVC compare to that Panasonic sound-wise?

I think I've just added one to my want list.

As an aside, I love Parliament, P-Funk and George Clinton's work.

Maggot Brain is one of my all time favs.

Jaetee -- I did not like the JVC very much. I sold it. In my opinion, those early JVC's did not sound that good. Neither did my RC-838. My panasonic 5150 had since been cleaned, rebelted, grills repainted pewter color, dial lamps retrofitted, and finally, entire box was re-capped and it's now my most reliable boombox -- it performs like brand new, out of the box. I love the sound but the tweets are fakes that emit zero sound (unless you are a mouse) so that's my last thing to do to it.

Bobby, sent you the high res shot via PM.
