mystery box ? helix hx 905 w pics

all i know is my buddy tj the trash man is coming by shortly ,he said he found the biggest 3 piece box he's ever seen and that the name on it was HELIX and that it was black ,i'm thinking it's one similar to the bercha/helix ht 905 like johnny has, oh well we will see shortly ,oh and it's free it ain't costing me a cent .

this box is 42" long so it's hard to get it all in one shot.

the front of the box is all scratched up looks like it was dragged on the pavement but still presentable, fully working too as far as the sound all i can say is it sounds as big as it looks ,actually not bad sounding at all and damn loud ,one thing tho this box is very cheaply built , a lasonic feels like a studio one compared to this .

I totally remember when this style of radio started coming out with the surround sound systems. I had a Fisher system that had a great Surround Sound setting that really filled the room. It wasn't as long as your radio, but it wasn't small either. Mine was one of the earlier portable CD player units. I wish I remember what model that was, would love to have one again.
