My weekend score -- $15

NOT a boombox.

But a grocery bag full of cassette tapes. 80's and '90's stuff. A little over a hundred of them, I think. Weighs like 20 or 30 pounds.

If I find a dozen of them I like, it'll probably be worth it.

Guy even delivered them from 45 miles away so it's a huge win.

It was always special to go out and purchase that new cassette back years ago. It appears that for $15.00,you have taken possession of a whole cassette store!

I think the cheapest thing you can find on flea, are old tapes!
Nobody want them, most end up in the trash.

Wow that's a heck of a score and probably more tapes than I had in the 80's.

Last year, I probably had zero cassettes (orignal pre-recorded ones). Most of what I had were just a few stray U-Record types that I found here/there.

This year, I bought a few I liked from the Goodwills for a buck a piece. 2 weeks ago, I bought 70 of them from a local gal, including a pair of tri-drawer storage cabinets for $20. I think I probably have maybe 200 now? Suprisingly, there are many that I like.

I have now actually found a use for the cassette deck feature which I almost never used before.

Heck in the 80's I just had a bunch of TDK D-90's that I used to record my music from the radio and some LP's.
