My Sharps (and a couple others)

Thought i'd share some of what i've acquired over the past couple months since i started collecting boomers. As you can see Sharps are my main love...don't really know why but my first component stereo system back in the mid 90's was a sharp and i loved that thing to death (i still have it too....just needs the driver speakers replaced as they're shot).
I can't really share many of those super bargain stories with this lot i must admit but to me it's been like if i can afford it, i'm going to buy it as you only live once and you could spend years looking for something particular at the "right" price and never find it. These will be with me for a long time (i hope)!

There's a few more i'm still looking for (see sig) but if it takes a a little while then so be it. Besides, i have all these to play around with!

Keep an eye out for some of my expedition photos featuring some of this lot in the near future. Happy times ahead indeed.

Thanks Jeremy. I would like a 777 still...must have accidently deleted it from my sig.
I'm trying to get some of the "brother" combos together...like:

GF-767 / GF-777 - Have one
GF-700 / GF-990 - Have both
GF-515 / GF-525 - Have one
GF-9494 / GF-9696 - Have both
GF-9191 / GF-9292 - Have neither

As for the VZ, i've still got those 2 not progressed any further :-(
I did however pick up another 2 for $100...both have radio/cassettes functional.
The black one's (VZ-2000X) turntable has broken PCB so terminal and the other (red/blue - VZ-2000XA) just needs new belts.

It is not bad at all. The tape is going little slow tho. Have a small scratch. But i promised to keep it till end of January. And sorry to hijackin the tread
