Hey whut!!!

Got a new vid showing off the FINAL Triple7, Triple Tandem, Triple RGB LED system in action......

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU6aUXbDplQ

No Shiat suuunnn!!!! The track fed into the blaster is 'FLAT'(+/-0db) & no Loudness, Bass or Treble gong into the LINE IN. The Triple 7 is set to 'Loudness' ON, 'Super Woofer' controls are 'FLAT(+/-0db) & Bass & Treble are at +2.5 & +3.5. Plenty of BASS & Treble & no extra AMP circuits need apply......

That is why I said the 777 is a Modder's dream come true. A great Amp/Pre-amp & tape system just waiting to be tapped by the right skins.....Lots of room for speakers & you can change them out without touching the chassis, as long as the new set to install doesn't have giant magnets. My last speaker system for my previous 777 had very large magnets & required relocation of the transformer.

Sharp dropped the ball with the speakers they chose to work with the Hitachi IC's & the system barely corked out 30 watts overall & noisy to boot......believe it or not, 4 Ohms was too high to get the real performance possible with these little IC's. 2.2 to 2.8 OHMS is the sweet spot for these chips....

Cool, very flashy! How do you drive the leds? I'm considering adding rgb leds in place of the (missing) spare tape drawer in my helix.

There are LED kits you can buy on eBay & then you can wire them up to the DC power supply of the blater....The electronic controllers can usually handle anything between 10-30v DC to power them.

Good luck!

This listing is for the entire kit & includes AC power bar adapter & 5M LED strip:

I would love to see other blokes jump on the LED modder's thing...maybe bring some new ideas to the fore....
