just reading the happy ending on the wonderful gluecifer 931 saga--

a year is a loooooooooong time to have a great box on the shelf -- :'-(
while waiting for deck parts and repairs -- right ?

well ----i use this sony D5 --

its a battery operated superdooper machine --

it gets the velcro 'stick-it-on-the-back' rig--
and yes -- there are some 'extra' line- in/out cords

but - for us dummies -that cant fix anything but wood
this sure is a viable temporary solution --
and the play//record sound qualities are

not the perfect solution -- but still.............

Am I to understand that you velcro this tape machine to the back of a Boombox that needs repair, as a temperary solution to the Boomboxes malfunctioning?
If this is true than I need some pictures please.
I'm with you, I'm but a novice when it comes to tinkering.

OSS --it makes no difference WHERE the walkman is located -
back - top - or on either side of the box --

or some of the smaller walkmans --are just pocket size --

all that counts is that the playback sound quality is about as
good as your box deck would be

OSS and rick requested a picture of a walkman/box combo

look on the left side --see the big sony -

most walkman are alot smaller -
and dont look that obtrusive -
if stuck anywhere on any side of any box
