Those Robos are as common as muck around here - doesn't stop them pulling huge money on EBay though!

Robos are very rare in US. Only once in a blue moon they show up on Ebay!
That even once in 2 years or so.

To be honest, with no tweeters and no sub, it's all mids.

Local member Dan went to the trouble of having his Robo speakers refoamed and brought it around for a demo. Half a song in, we both agreed it was super loud but not what you'd call sweet sounding.

The Robo is an 80s icon and for nastalgia reasons alone, they are very worthy of restoration.👍
