Hey there boomers and bassmaker's

I'm Brandon from hot n sticky like my n**z Fla.

As the name suggests I got my first job to buy my, as I now know, 2gen TRC-931 from a shady video store on Long Island, Videotronics. It was $140 at $4.00 and hour. I had to transport it home on my bike. Quite the challenge for my then small frame.

I disturbed the peace, ran from the cops and lost all my batteries, saving only the battery cover, several times. Ahh the days.

I used my TRC-931 as the main juice for my first DJ Setup. Connected were a 4 channel mixer, house speakers from a garage sale, 2 different, belt-drive turntables, a Sony Car Discman, dual tape deck and a microphone. I did many a sweet 16 for the High School crowd.

Continuing into the Bass Era, I moved on to blow all of my graduation money on a 10" Bazooka tube. Working my way up the ranks of Car Audio ended up with a RF, PPI, Pioneer Premier setup and one stolen car.

Refusing to give up on hearing loss, I recently started buying vintage Cerwin Vegas for the home. Still looking for E-715's

THEN, I lost my damn mind and bought a Gen1 and a Gen2 TRC-931 four days apart.

I sure hope they work well, if not, we be chattin!

Welcome to the Nut House! :-P :dunce: :bang:

Lots of TRC-931's 'round here!

BTW, you want to get a set of Vega AT-15's. Those are the REAL DEAL, they have 2 sealed mids, instead of 1 and will handle 600w each. I still have a set I bought brand new in '88. They need a full rebuild, they are on "The List", but I will get there one day once I get a few more Blasters (including a 931).
