Just thought i would show you this.... im super excited to have found it and bought it....... story goes like this......

i see the pics on ebay uk.... no bids... i wonder whats up with this as normally the guys are asking alot for them.... it says come view it to see the condition and its pick up only.... im in south africa so thats not possible being in london.... turns out hes in bexleyheath, kent just outside london....... and my sister stays there... hahah..... i get her husband to go check it out for me... he says good condition doesnt describe it, "its new" he says. The guy said it was his fathers, apparently he had a tape player (sharp) and it was stolen. He claimed from insurance and bought the best available at the time, which he said was the vz - 2000. He only used the radio on it and the lp player has not ever been used.... also had the original instruction manual....

Anyway, i got it.... really happy to have it... it arrives here 18th

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
:breakdance:

:jawdrop: Congratulations!!! That does look "new". you will enjoy it. It's perfect looking. Even if you did have to change the drive belt to the turntable, it's an easy and inexpensive fix. You're gonna love this thing  The E model takes a "din" style input plug, is that standard in S.Africa too?

Very nice, I love my VZ... sometimes you have to move heaven and earth to get them in your possession, but that just adds to the fun of these.

I was lucky enough to find one locally..lol in Canada, was 10+ hour round trip for me, but 3 hour round trip for my mother..so she picked it up for me

hahahahahaha........ i dropped 250 on it..... i put 120 on it 12 minutes to go as a feeler for other bidders, but nothing........... i mut be dealing with professionals cos you came in silent at 15 seconds to go....... something said to me..........this is to good to be true so dropped the 250 at 12 seconds...hahahahahaha....

(i did it in my room with the light off)............. hahahaha, otherwise i would have been in trouble myself...........
