Well, I finally got around to installing the led kit I purchased from our very own Superduper. It didn't take as long as I thought (only 3 hours) and really was painless. Here's how she looks now...sorry about the pics, but they really don't show the leds very well.

I just can't get over the detail in the kit as it comes from Norm. Everything fits. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow, and everything flows very smoothly as you progress thru the installation.
I was particuliarly impressed with the way the leds fit over the VU meters. It's an exact fit.
I picked blue 'cause it's my fav, but I almost wish I had asked for clear leds over the VU meters. I think people in the future might keep that in mind, as the clear ones make for easier meter reading. The only thing I would change is to encourage people to use magnification when they do the simple soldering that's required in the kit. It really speeds things up.

I recommend these kits to one and all. Now, I want to do my 9998...and you will, too. I really think most boxes could benefit from this upgrade.

I know mine will.
