Hi from Germany,

i have found this forum, while i am searching for (not really existing) discussions about the CFS-9000.

I am sooo lucky since yesterday afternoon.

I had found this: http://kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/anzeig...-player-gut-erhalten,tragbares-geraet/8176039 (bad description for these goods, so it has sleeped a month in the web) without knowing this device, had mailed and had purchased.

And YES, this one is really near mint (but the tapedeck is not working, so i have a little bit of repairing-fun) and its a small (and heavy) BEAST with a crying doublevoice from 2 x 25 Watt.

I am the first person, wo had inserted Batteries in this little godness and i have filled yesterday a evening-gardenparty with wonderfull sounding (radio)music.
:breakdance:

Thank you for the welcome. :-)

:hmmm: I believe, the 20 Euros was a nice price for the included CD-Player "Sony CDP-S42" (looks like "NOS") - the CFS must be a gift.

Now i must sell all of my other boomboxes*, i never again want to hear them. :sadno:

In the moment i think, the CFS-9000 ist the smallest portable powermachine ever.
And with 10 "Kilogramm" (incl. batteries) one of the heaviest in this size.

*
- AKAI AJ-530FL
- Crown CSC-950L
- 2 x Sharp GF-555
- 2 x Intersound SCR-J83 WE
- two smaller boxes from Grundig and Graetz

Thank you all. :smooch:

Because in the future no one would believe this great shot, i have archived the announcement now.

"ebay Kleinanzeigen", in the past known as "Kijiji" is my best source for really good local deals.
- one of the Intersounds for 30 Euro
- one of the GF-555s for 50 Euro (ok, thats near normal ebay-price)
- one of the craziest (modern) boomboxes, an AIWA CSD-XD55* (+ Sony CFD-V77S) for 15 Euro
- last week a absolut perfect shot: a portable radio "Telefunken Atlanta de Luxe" from 1969 (from the daughter of the first owner) near mint under the dust of 4 decades for only 40 Euros and she was very happy to get this price from me without discussion.
And if she find it, she sends me the original Manual and the receipt from 1969.
Yes, "mostly nobody" knows this device, but one of this was gone for 355$ this year in ebay. :w00t:

- and a lot more...

* Where is the tapedrive (on the top is only the CD-Drive)?

Hi :-)

The deal is 1,75 years old, but thanks for the new gratulations. ;-)

To Robb: i think about selling the 9000, but i have until today not changed the belts... :'-(

Meanwhile i have collected (additional) some other nice stuff like a Sony FH-77 with Recordplayer PS-Q7 and CDP-7F.

The FH-77 is a portable (i have dismounted the handle), but without battery power.

...and the following :superduper: monster, a Panasonic RX-A2

This was the pic from the seller:

This pic is not from me, because i dont have mechanical connected the speakers to the device (but it shows the size :w00t: ):

And yes, this has battery power, but i think, for only some minutes of "full speed"...
