Just wanted to wish you all a happy new year and that to simply say I'm still enjoying my little boombox, I listen to the radio on it every day, the "visualizer" effect was my little hack to this machine as the TV had a problem, so I rewired its deflection coils (so called) to the output of the amplifier so the TV now pops & jumps to electric signals from the music, the louder the bigger the lines to screen, like a music oscilloscope.
Anyway, I'll love it for a few years yet I hope, I fixed the peeled off control panel which was missing on the left-hand side, I meticulously created a new image for it in photoshop and had it printed out on special sticky plastic-like covering which was a bugger to get on there, but it worked well enough to look miles better than before.
