Heyya Box Freeeeks!!!

I played around with the idea of adding some sort of finished edge to the body lites on my DISCO M90-SS. The holes always seemed to need a finishing touch to make it look more in sync with the rest of the blaster's design & asthetics. I decided to try out some sterling silver grommets to line the holes for the LEDs & they look like bright shiny rivets...check it out

Although I probably would never drill through an M90 should I get one...I gotta admit the grommets raise the bar and keep it much cleaner than the raw holes. Also digging the paint detail and the woofs. Nice. :-)

It is a nice touch.

But aside from that, those speaker grills are sooo blue. Is that standard or did you paint them, they look good.
From the looks of it I could tell they were painted blue.

The grommets look good on the M-90, but I have to say never would I drill holes on my M-90.

Just the thought erks me! :annoyed:

HA-HA-HA!! LOL!! Well, to me it just seemed natural to bring something new to the M90 looks & make it my own while pulling off a really sweeeeet customization that is hard to copy. My M90 was rough cosmetically, the deck dragged a bit before it was fully gone over, in addition to the woofers & tweeters were cracking too. This was no shelf queen & it had some operational issues I needed to fix so I figured I might as well paint it up, shine it up & pimp it out with killer free air bass/mid woofers & some minty PHILIPS tweeters & a KILLER RGB LED system. I may even add some sweet Grundig roll bars to protect the front....I might put it to a vote.

Cheers,
Cpl
