I had more difficulty because everything is tiny.
I thought that I shall not any more manage to close the walman!!
The spring of the wicket also raised me problems!!
I am satisfied all the same because in the end , everything works .
I just miss one antenna .

Amazing and courageous.  Member 71spud might need your services. ;-)

If you were here in the 'States I would say you'd clearly have a career here in boombox restoration. These super small units off unique challenges and you shoud be proud to have risen to it!

You are truly technical, more amazing work. Do you have a job or do just work on boomers all day long? :hmmm: You seem to be very active with your outstanding boombox refurbishing.

It is not my pricipal work. I work on these boombox in evening or the weekend.
The only problem for me it is because I am not an electronics engineer and because it puts me difficulties for the electronic breakdowns.
I have a sencor which(who) has only a single way which works. My crown highly-rated right(straight) more low(weaker) in the treble tone.
The cassette deck of my panasonic does not work.

Thanks to all for your answer

50/50 for me even getting open the back cover of a box. I'd be nervous opening a box as cool as your JVC!

I redid an Aiwa walkman once. Although I managed to get it working again, all I can say is Never again. Took way longer than I wanted, soldering was tedious, getting parts to fit back together was frustrating. In conclusion, I have neither the eyes, the patience or desire to ever do another again. Servicing Boomboxes is fun. Walkmans.....
