Finally got around to doing it. Looks great but could sound better. Need another set of white 6 1/2 inch Lasonic speakers if anybody has them (one of the center woofers sound blown). I have some white speakers from a donor 8585 but they were too yellow and I'm not into painting speakers. If anybody needs parts from it let me know. The cassette door covers are taken off on purpose cause I'm gonna have them done as well. But it sure does look sweet without them. Let me know what you think :thumbsup:

Wow man, you really put it together! It looks fantastic and functioning is even better so now you have a reason to carry that artwork around! :thumbsup:


The lasonic speakers look good in there too :drool:

Oh yes I am. Gotta meet up with him on Wednesday. Just put it together for the pictures. I'll post up pics after she's all done.

What I love about this.... is the artist actually wrote in the functions! I have never seen anyone do that before.... and when I had my box painted up several years ago, I didnt even think to request that!

Well done! An 'iconic' work of art!

Yup! DOVES is a good dude. He delivered the goods. I let him take his time and it was worth the wait. Got way more work for him but I'm guessing the guy is just mad busy. I want him to do the back side of it as well. I'll holla at him soon enough.
