My first boombox

Hey everyone, so I got myself my first boombox, a Silver SR6000. Seems in really good condition, all functions, lights and VU meters working great. Love the sound too!

Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience of this brand/model?

Also what are some good tips for a newbie in terms of keeping one of these in good condition?

Congratulations. The Silver brand is actually quite nice and underrated.
The only thing you can do in all honesty to try and keep it running well is to use it regularly.
It is inevitable that at some point it will need servicing but rest in the comfort in knowing that most things can be resolved with a bit of patience and tenacity.
