I love coming on here just looking and reading about your boxes, fixes and collections. Though my collection is a small one, I thought I´d share anyway! This site is awesome!!!

Bought this one a week ago. Sweet box! Really need to get the cassette working... :hmmm: I think it might just be the belts.

I really like these mini Grundigs. Especially the blue one looks like it just got out of a abusive relationship though!

Throwing in a picture of my turntables :w00t: The mixtape station!

Nice TRK-8180! That VZ-2500 is pretty neat, too
Lookin' super clean
On those real deal sheets... what's the box in the top right one? (Or top left behind the LP)

Good collection dude. Love the colored boxes. Red Sanyo and blue Grundig are    . Did you try to remove the stains?

I´m not quite sure what that one is... Next time I´m at the guy who owns its house I´ll check it out! He bought it still with tags at a fleamarket for about 20 bucks! It is a beast!

The Vz is pretty good shape but maybe not as nice as it looks in the pictures... The inside looks clean but the battery compartment is pretty corroded. There were batteries in there that must of been 20 years old! I Think it needs some new belts but should be running! Can´t complain I actually found that one at a flea for 10 bucks

Probably best way than is to use a paint thinner and than respray it. Its a worthy sweet box. Go for it  .

I´ll check with my friend but I think it might be a Hitachi TRQ-110, although it doesn´t get many hits when i google it...

To me, any collection that includes a VZ2500 (with working turntable), isn't a humble collection. CAUSE I DON'T HAVE ONE!!!!! Not even sure how many times I've ever seen a 2000/2500/3000 for sale with a working turntable. Just scared to ever jump into repairing one of them as who knows what parts may or may not be missing/broken.

Nice collection! I don't recall ever noticing a volume control for the headphones on a Hitachi. That is cool as hell!

The Hitachi is the star of the show... That's why it got TOP billing.

Haha yeah you can almost tell from the pictures that the hitachi is my fav! The VZ is awesome but I could just stare at the hitachi for hours! I really hope that i don´t mess anything up trying to change the cassette belts :bang: (I would probably quite literally be banging my head into a brick wall...

It´s cool to get such nice feedback from other people that don´t see blasters as outdated junk!

If I could choose one box to add to my collection it would be a telefunken studio1! I´m kind of a out in the wild collector though so I don´t know what the odds are of finding one. Of course the odds of finding a VZ-2500 or the hitachi probably aren´t huge either, so gotta stay positive!

awesome collection  love the vz 2500 and that is not an easy box to find or cheap to buy so just having one in your collection is a quantum leap forward .
