Haven't posted for a VERY long time, but feel that it is an important time now that my Chilean cousins are soon to be rescued.

I managed to send over a couple of M90s which only arrived today, but am glad they are being sent down now just in time for mis hermanos. These brave souls will finally be able to appreciate the extend of what is in effect a giant bass tube that they have been trapped in for the last couple of months.

I send them and their families all my best wishes, as well as a couple of badass old school hiphop tapes, and hope they will emerge safe, healthy and with a new understanding of bass reverberation.

On a side note, it took me about five minutes to notice the picture. :dunce: However, my lack of noticing is a testament to Mirko's Photoshop skills.

And M90 is very generous, but a little late.... but it would have been quicker to drill a 10" hole and dropped down a JVC Kaboom--- :w00t:

Of course Kaboom is how they got into trouble in the first place... :-/

Congratulations to the Chilean people, Government and the international group including the U.S. that are assisting in the rescue!

These guys (the Miners) had it right from the begining. These guys will have many stories to tell their families and the world community. This is an example to show the world we need to be united.

Now I'm debating whether to pop open that fine Chilean wine I've been saving. This wine is called "Casillero Del Diablo" by Concha y Toro it goes great with cheddar cheese.

Hey Ford!

Nice, very nice Wine I must say! TOTL actually... You should try it out with some chuncks of parmesan cheese sprinkled with some drops of Balsamic Vinegar... mind blowingly GOOD!!!!

 Welcome back beatbox!

Yeah, the rescue was awesome.
A lot of technical knowledge all over the world came together to manage this.
Great work!

btw: the winch that pulled up the tube is made in austria
Also the engineers on the crane. :angelic:

The shift foreman is a hero! What he did to keep things together in the first 17 days was nothing short of amazing.

The government really stepped up and was not too proud to accept help. But what of the working conditions that allowed this to happen in the first place.

A big thanks needs to be given to NASA and our military for the technology and psychology that kept the miners in good health. And to the USA drilling technology that drilled the hole in 1/3 of the time.

I was most worried when they started doing their Chilean cheer. I was afraid a soccer game might break out and someone might get killed...

It is one of the GOOD highlights of 2010...when we almost always are surrounded by 'Bad' news....

It made my heart glad to see human strength, Spirit and love expressed throughout this ordeal.

Compare our current U.S. leaders with the true heart shown by Chile's president and people, that's leadership and integrity.

:agree: with Ed, the first thing the President of chile said was no bureaucracy!!

Now thats one guy that puts his people first before any interest groups. AMEN!
