Thanx, :-D

Tape speed is a bit high but so far only my REEL CLEER GOLD CHROME 90's warble during playback but all other tapes are fine for some reason, including other 90's. I'm either going to sell it off cheap or have the deck serviced with new belts, lube, etc.

If anyone sees this, you can make any offer via PM. Also, if you want, post your opinions here on whether I should go the extra & do a body LED design too add to it or keep as is...

Cheers,
Cpl

BTW, these are great budget boxes with SAMSUNG Woofers & tweeters, full logic deck & very good FM reception & this unit works perfectly, except the deck needs some lube & tweaking but the belts are still good. The pause button causes the deck to stop & disengage but no harm is done so I imagine that a good lube & adjustment will fix that...

The music search works great too & NO functional problems at all for the entire unit. It even has embedded strap bars for using a guitar strap or similar type of strapping....

Kewl, just wondering ,The flashing and color changes are cool but is it possible to sequence the lights , similar to a disco lite box? There are kits for this? Nice work :-)

Well, yeah. I have a few threads showing the functionality of my various Mothership & Boom-Zilla RGB Mods.

You can purchase a raw kit which includes power bar, 5050 RGB LED strip, LED controller, remote control, for about 50 bucks shipped from Hong Kong in about 4 weeks....

You'll need additional materials for making your circuits & will have to modify the board to work with the blaster. If you do not know basic wiring & know how to safely tap into the fused DC voltage supply, then this is not for you. I have to warn members here that you should not attempt this modification unless you understand the risks involved with electrically modifying appliances & further, have a very well grounded understanding of curcuits, the importance of fused protection, etc.

Having said that, I have been making these RGB DISCO boxes for about 18 months, have completed 7 projects so far, am working on an 8th & ALL function just fine & without incident of any sort. The 2nd M70 Project has a total of 48 LEDs that runs simultaneously, depending on the settings & it runs just fine with the original power & fuse.

Yeah, it's a solid built radio with plenty of UMPH!! A good candidate for a low to mid priced MOD & looks amazing with the LEDs in person. If's actually finished now & am taking offers for it, PM only.....

Cheers,
