In the "Introductions" section I have been asked to post pictures of my boomboxes. So here are a few I just took.
My nice Crown CSC-850L in the middle of my audio drama cassette collection. It really looks good there! The shelf was built by my dad and me to perfectly fit this boombox

The Sharp VZ 2500, I absolutely love it. You can't see it but right now it has the single "Holiday Rap" in it 
Okay, Vinix lovers buckle up! This is my radio alarm clock Vinix VPC 7704 which wakes me up every morning. It is awefully minty and I think it is the mintiest one i have. It is not good for great sound but great for an alarm clock in the morning, it all works 100%!!!
And last but not laest but actually first somehow. My first model I ever got. The Crown CSC-935. Right now it is used to support the Vinix, it looks quite cool. It is not mint but it looks just fine. This is the model i take out on the streets, I even walked through my school with it once
. Nobody even complained because they were all too shocked to see an 80s boombox instead of earphones on an iPod.
Yeah, that's it for now. One box is still on its way to me though. A Sharp GF 777
I am so looking forward to it and it will look great next to the VZ 2500!

Member redbenjoe has the Vinix also. It is a cute box, but like you said, it is not big on sound. Redbenjoe also has a Delmon "cousin" of the Vinix.
