First off,

I'd just like to say how much I've enjoyed all of your pictures and boombox stories since being a member of this community and I figured it was about damn time I shared some pictures of my new setup. I'm pretty happy with it, and one of these days I'll have all these bad boys hooked up together for a fierce wall of sound! These pictures don't do these boxes justice with the poor lighting....but they're still pretty cool, so without further adieu...

Since I know you guys are into vintage electronics too, I snapped a few pictures of my Fisher MC-4155 reciever and Polk Monitor 30 speakers that can really thump! There's really no comparing vintage electronics with some of the stuff they put out today, this stuff just blows it all away.

Well that about does it, my problem now is finding more wall space to show these things off in a classy manner, my other walls are covered in aerospace and music stuff. But I think we can all agree, if the right deal finds you, you find room rather quickly!

Reli did you go see their reunion tour?!?! I swore to myself when they came to San Diego that I would go no matter what, even if that meant selling a kidney down in Tijuana. Fortunately for me, I saved enough during my summer job!

And just so everyone knows, these things are by no means shelf queens. They go out on camping trips, bike rides, baseball games, you name it! Nothing like rolling up somewhere with a portable party. :breakdance:

Wow! Beautiful examples of some classic machines there!

And that's a tidy little vintage hifi setup too bet you get many hours of listening pleasure from that. :surf:
