I live in Northern Cali but I am currently in Nebraska for 3 months on a job assignment without ANY of my boxes. since I have been here I have purchased 5 boxes that I have yet to even see!...Panasonic CT 800, Panasonic RX CS 780, JVC PC V2J, Crown 950, and a GE 3065. Needless to say I can't wait to get home to open them all. I have special customization plans for the GE, Crown and JVC. I was wondering if any of you have been separated from your boxes for a long period of time??...and how do you get through it.... ...I am having a great time adding to my collection and my wife is in Cali so she can't yell at me....

The longest I've been without any of my boomboxes is five and a half days. I missed my boomers but at least I still had my truck radio. That won't happen again - I'll make sure I have some kind of boombox with me even if it's a mini. ;-)

I leave my boomers for weeks at a time when I'm away from home, and I kind of miss having them around, but I tend to keep busy while I'm away, so I don't have much time to think about them. And fortunately, they're always exactly where I left them when I return.

The good thing is that, no matter how much I miss my boomers when I'm not at home, unlike doggies and kitties, they don't miss me.

When I was away from home I dang sure made certain I had one with me. I would have gone nuts without it.
