Well there are two drive-in theaters by me. One in Warwick NY - and it's called The Warwick Drive-In.
This is their website:

The other one is in Middletown NY and it's called Fair Oaks Drive-In
And here's their website:

I haven't been to the Fair Oaks one yet, but people tell me it's nicer, but it only has 3 screens whereas Warwick has 3 screens.
You see two movies for $8 per person, which I think is great! We just coat ourselves with "deep woods off" and never have a problem with bugs.
Most people use either their car radio to listen to the movies. Each screen has a different FM frequency to tune to. I thought of boomboxes immediately over this past fall when they were all closed already, so I've been waiting for the chance to break out the boombox for this! I already went once before but I bought the Lasonic i931x just as a trail run, lol This time I thought this epic film deserved a better radio, lol!
Both movies we saw were pretty good - Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes was really good, and of course they end it so it's quite obvious there will be another one for sure. Captain America was also really good and was much more action packed, so if you like guns and explosions, this movie is for you.
I think it would be amazing for us boombox guys to meet up for a night at the drive-in movies!! The ultimate box would be a Disco Lite for sure! It would look awesome in the dark!
