My 80's Themed 40th Birthday Party

So last month I hit the big 40 and my wife through me an epic 80's themed surprise party. My boys SLO, Dr. Der, Lasonic TRC-920 and DarksideWill were in on the surprise and helped my wife with the boombox decor. Here are some of the over 150 pictures I have from that night. I tried to focus on pictures with either us in them or boomboxes. I don't think many of you would want to see the pictures of my aunt Maria and uncle Carlos!

Here is my Rising 40/40 Cake!! It weighed almost twice as much as the real thing. No Joke!!
Random pics including the boombox center pieces that had the names of the streets of the neighborhood I grew up in.

That was one of the funnest nights I can't remember!

Howie, your family and friends are really great people and my wife, brother and I were so honored to be in on all the fun. Your wife is simply amazing to have organized, built props, invited people and pulled off a 100 person party you knew nothing about it.

She thought of every 80's detail. She asked SLO, Dr DER and DarkSideWill and I to provide a few radio's, she did the rest.

She set up a "Photobooth" with a background and "Rapper" accessories to wear for the pics.

It was such a great time seeing all our wifes mingling and having fun right along side us, with radio's in hand.

And of course, the many trips to the bar AND THEN a little Blasting on the street and around the block in the Bar District! THAT WAS FUN!

A real preview to see what will happen in Vegas!

HEY! Wheres Aunt Maria and Uncle Carlos??? Howie your wife put together one HELLUVA party my friend, we all had a blast! I don't know how she pulled it all off but man that was a great party. We were all happy to be a part of it all. Those pictures are GREAT homie!

When I saw the belly dancer out at the bar that night I had to get a picture of her with my blaster! We even took to the streets with our radio's and caused some ruckus. Definitely good times.
