It was my first boombox, and since then I have always dreamed about the 5350 :-) one day I will own all 5*50 Panasonics :yes:

In those demoted space behind the radio (which supports Tapedeck), you can add one of these two battery packs (stuck with velcro) and will have full portability of your radio through the streets, without ever worrying about leakage of D batteries
They are not very expensive, are lighter and have longer than type D batteries. ;-)
