Well, well, well....nothing new on the radar that seemed newsworthy of late except a few acquisitions & traditional restorations, as per usual. I think it was JustCruisin'? turned us on to some of his art on cold steel & I am a definite fan. It's probably the best paintwork on BBy by miles....Still waiting on that colored Conion & the 'RIKER' Flat Black EDITION.....They are gonna look sweet if it all goes down smooth...I can tell already from the pics....

In the meantime, I'm almost done improving the 11th & latest DISCO Freak Show. There's just 1 last little addition to the whole smack to finish it off properly & further protect the entire front stack.....

1 last roll-bar. If all goes right, it'll look unique....

Stay tuned!

OK, 2 projects wrapped up in 2 days....A good week for sure...

Here's the latest pics of the last roll bar added to the 2nd DISCO DESTROYER...

As you can see from this series of shots, the bar, once mounted, protects the bottom chrome LED adjuster from bumps & just clears the table by about 1mm. :-D

Hopefully, the added bar will give the 777 better stability & make it harder to tip...

Hope you peeps like & I have to say, I think the angled mounting & 3 bars together look very clean & brings another element to the design that I feel was missing from the original....When I first got a 777, the beveled egde along the bottom just begs for some bumper bars.

It looks clean....I like it!
Thanx! :-D I think it took a bit of getting used to since it's such a unique placement but for me, it all fits together somehow & I'm happy with it The 3 bars, together, function quite well at protecting the face from a frontal fall.....boom! The bars take the hit, not the controls, window, cassette bays or even the screens. The bottom Fender knob & 1/4 inch jacks are protected as well there's not much left to chance when carting this stack around.
