My 2nd Lasonic TRC-951

This popped up on a BMX forum I am on and I jumped all over it. The seller knew what he had so it was a fair price for both of us.

Too bad it isn't staying long. I knew a member here that has poked and prodded me about the 1st 951 that I scored and I contacted them to see if they could swing the $ for it. Knowing that I won't make any profit on this box and that it is going to a member just makes me tingle inside. It feels good to pass the deal along sometimes

The fat CDX-931 cd lasonic is still on the fritz. The volume pot is junk and needs to be replaced. The CD player works ok, has some quirks. Radio stations come in well, and neither cassette deck works .

Oh... that's a nice looking room. Next time I'm heading east on 94 I'll have to stop by. If you're ever in the Minneapolis area feel free to hit me up. I don't have a dedicated room like that for mine so much. They are all over my office and then all around/under/etc the 'man cave' area and ping pong table that is my 'working space' in the basement. Anywhere beyond that and I might get in trouble with the 'roommate'.

Yeah, stop over anytime . It feels great to have a dedicated room for all of them and to be able to look at each one at the same time .

Good luck man....the 951 is a different animal....as a matter of fact, the 3 big Lasonic's all sound different. The 975 has the LBS with the BIG BOOM, the 935 has crisp highs and the 951 has a bit beefier bottom end than the 935....and it's LOUD!

Like chris said, they are suprisingly all very different. I still say buy all 3 if you can! Love the sinister look of the 951.
