I just picked up one of these things. Reviews are excellent, apparently one of the holy grails in CD players. AND it matches the Sony FH series :w00t:

I Am Legend
thanks floyd --

btw --sony made a gorgeous series of several of these all-metal models --
but they were the FIRST portable//personal CD players --
made BEFORE the anti-shock was invented --

so - these are not so hot for outside boomer bangers :-)

Hey Ira, I remember when those were new, they were EXPENSIVE!

This is the one I used to have, good player, but very early technology, if you exhaled by it, it would skip. But back when CD players were new and CD releases had dynamic range, these really made everything else sound like cr@p.
